AWAI refers to / away / which in Quechua means “WEAVING”, it is also known as the ancient technique of weaving waist loom. The AWAI proposal is sustainable fashion accessories with contemporary designs, which amicably addresses the cultural manifestations that make up the Andean aesthetic universe, such as weaving and goldsmithing through its products, with an ecological and social awareness through the use of materials natural which are worked and transformed with ancestral techniques, as well as fair trade relationships with its collaborating artisans.
