The Social Pillar
Equal Hands partners with artisans and organizations in underserved communities around the world to provide a dignified income and opportunities for talented makers. We also donate a portion of the purchase price to local charitable causes we support.

The Environment Pillar
We are very aware of the negative impact fast fashion and mass production has had on the environment. This awareness has led us to work towards offering the most environmentally sustainable and natural products that we can find.

The Economic Pillar
We strongly believe that empowered individuals hold the ability to break the cycle of poverty and that in particular, women need to be connected to opportunities so that communities can thrive.

Our process
A journey to realize, reconnect, and re-find our essence. A journey to go back where everything started, All pieces have an artisanal touch at some level: handmade embroidery; artisanal dye or handmade artisanal technique, which is a way that gives to all clients a touch of Peruvian essence. The 13 Snake Project respects our workers in Lima. All of them work under good and safe conditions. We encourage our artisans in the Andes and in the Amazonia to preserve their art by paying them fairly for their pieces and love they put in their work. The 13 Snake Project capsule collection functions as a collaborative work: with every item sold a % of the income is designated to a social cause, once this donation is made a 3rd person or company doubles the donation to the same cause. Creating a chain of unity and solidarity.
